Updates to the 2021 Boreas XT Offroad Camper Trailer Chassis

UPDATES TO THE 2021 BOREAS XT OFFROAD CAMPER TRAILER CHASSIS

The heavy duty chassis for the offroad teardrops got some functional and cosmetic upgrades

The 2021 Boreas XT chassis got a big makeover, with improvements in both form and function for the offroad camper trailer.

The sleek lines and special touches include a BOREAS CAMPERS laser cut into the gussets up front, alongside the outlines of the mountains that inspire us at Boreas Campers every day.

Not only are the gusset elements cosmetically snazzy, but they add stiffness and provide skid protection for the parking brake cables and wire harness.

The interior of the frame provides a home for the 30-gallon water tank, protected by a skid plate, and the all-new Cruisemaster CRS2 suspension.

The entire chassis has been adjusted to carry the weight of a 400-lb motorcycle on the tongue, eliminating the need for a separate MXT model. In addition, all trailers will have a 2” front receiver hitch welded permanently under the toolbox to place a bike rack or other tray up front.

We have moved away from the central draw bar to an A-frame style, which creates a stiffer, straighter-towing design, similar to many in the Australian market. The rear end receiver has been reinforced to be stiffer and more robust (2021 and earlier models this receiver is rated to 250 lbs. 2022 and later models it is rated to 300 lbs.)

The Cruisemaster D035 pin-type hitch comes with a parking brake, features a very easy-to-use system for coupling and de-coupling, and has an easy access zerk for greasing.

This offroad camper trailer is ready for any adventure!
