Roof Rack: more storage on your overland adventure trailer

ROOF RACK: MORE STORAGE ON YOUR OVERLAND ADVENTURE TRAILER

The roof rack on the Boreas adds even more storage to your adventure trailer

We say it a lot but it’s always worth re-mentioning: the Boreas adventure trailer has a surprising amount of storage space. You’ve got large cabinets in the cabin AND galley, a roomy toolbox on the tongue, a rear hitch receiver (plus one on the front if you’ve got an MXT), and an optional luggage rack for the top of the toolbox. And that doesn’t include the space in your tow vehicle after all of the groceries and gear go in the trailer.

One last spot for gear is the roof rack. The aluminum, powder-coated rack is welded onto the frame of the trailer so it’s extra sturdy. And when you add the crossbars it adds even more rigidity to the overall structure.

The trailer comes standard with 2 crossbars which is enough to carry bike trays, kayaks, luggage racks or other toys. You could also put a roof top tent up there after installing an additional 2 cross bars, and bring friends or kids along for the adventures in the penthouse!

The fenders are load-bearing so it's easy to step on those and reach what you've stored on the roof rack. Now you just have to figure out what to put up there!
